On this day in Dodgers history


August 31, 1950— Gil Hodges of Brooklyn Dodgers hits four homers and a single in a game against the Boston Braves at Ebbets Field. The Dodgers and the HOF Veteran committee  need to get their shit together and do right by this great player. He's been ignored for far too long.

I agree with you 100%. Why not jump start the campaign with a "Gil Hodges should be in the Hall" shirt... I'd buy it!

Amen. The Baseball HOF has it's flaws. Gil should be in.
