Ever since Manny threw his elbow pad and helmet a few months ago for getting called out on a pitch way outside. I have noticed one thing. Nearly every umpire has given that outside pitch to the pitcher for a strike when he is at bat. It wouldn't surprise me if this is something the umpires are doing to him as punishment for his little outburst, but it needs to stop. Balls and strikes can be called by technology. Umpires should be thankful for the borrowed time they are on. I'm old school but am willing to try anything to better the game.
